Family Math Fests are events put on in schools, libraries, community centers, or any neighborhood location to introduce and share the joy of families doing math together. These kits are meant to supply you with all the material and directions you need for putting on such an event. There are 12 different tables that each have three or four activities for families to choose from.
In addition to the EFM kit, the Community Math Night Facilitators’ Toolkit from the Regional Educational Laboratory Program of IES offers a much more detailed and all encompassing approach to putting on a family math event.
