Weekly Wonder

Weekly Wonder is for teachers wanting a supply of puzzles and games delivered each week in their email. There are 3 bands of emails roughly corresponding to grade levels: K-2, 1-4, and 2-5. You are welcome to sign up for more than one band.

Each Weekly Wonder email contains:

• • A brief description of the activity

  • Tip of the Week for families doing fun math with their children

  • A link to the activity page on the EFM website. This page has a longer description, complete with hints and answers, and a PDF to use in your classroom or send home to your families. For puzzles, there are two PDF’s – one with just the puzzle and one with the puzzle and notes with the answer.

  • Guiding the Wonder has ideas for how to help your students explore this activity in your classroom

There are at least two ways you can use this.

• • Copy the top portion of the WW email and send it as part of a weekly email you send to your families. You might also include the downloaded PDF from the EFM page.

  • Use the materials as a Puzzle of the Week in your classroom.

Sign up for the Sampler and immediately receive a Welcome, two puzzles, and a game for each of the three levels. These will all come in a burst over the next 30 minutes.

Sign up for a grade level band to start receiving one of those emails each week.
